Today we joined the beautiful MSC Splendida for our short cruise to Europe. We have our first impressions of the Yacht Club, as well as our first taste of the food on offer from MSC.

Zeebrugge, Belgium

Today we docked in Zeebrugge where we visited Bruges for a boat trip and a brewery tour. Back on board, we enjoyed some live music and some more wonderful Yacht Club food!

After a late night yesterday, we had a bleary-eyed start to the day before exploring Amsterdam. We experienced our first theatre show on the ship, but otherwise had a fairly relaxing day!
Relaxing at Sea

Today was our first sea day onboard and for us a chance to do very little (which is unusual for us). But fear not, I’ll use the empty blog to give you a tour of our stateroom and tell you about the Yacht Club afternoon tea.

Today we docked in Hamburg where I finally got to visit Miniatur Wunderland. Alex and I enjoyed some delicious sausage, and we had another relaxing afternoon on the ship.
More Relaxation at Sea

Today was another sea day, though much colder on deck than the last one. We tried lunch in L’Olivo, paid a visit to the Aurea Spa, checked out a couple of cooking demonstrations, and did a whole bunch more reading!
Le Havre & Arrivederci

Our final day on board was docked in Le Havre. We looked at ways of finishing off our onboard credit, got packed, and said arrivederci to our home for the last week.
